Set up in 2001, the .NAME generic Top-Level Domain is the sole TLD intended for personal websites only. These domain names can include personal or fictitious names, aliases and/or other designations people are popular by. At first, just third-level registrations were permitted, so if you planned to acquire john.doe.name, you were supposed to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration process was liberalized and 2nd-level registrations were also allowed. Already bought third-level names remained working.

Through our company, you can register your dot NAME domain for a period between one and ten years. You will have the chance to edit the WHOIS details, to park your domain, to set up Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an active domain to our firm if you get its EPP transfer authorization code from the current registrar company and we will renew it as soon as the transfer has been finalized.
